RECOOLER TEMPERATURES: Recoolers are heat exchangers between primary and secondary helium circuits. As the low temperature wave front moves from the 6 o'clock end of the Sextant (where the refrigerator is located) towards the 4 o'clock end, successive recoolers drop in temperature. The horizontal lines at 4 and 9 degrees Kelvin indicate the temperature range necessary for injection.
