• AGS:
  • The spin depolarization resonances in the AGS due to the linear coupling were successfully eliminated by using the new warm helical partial snake provided by RIKEN Japan.
  • During the run, 0.7e11 protons per bunches with 45% polarization was routinely provided by AGS
  • During the last week of RUN, AGS was able to provide 1e11 protons per bunch with 45% polarization, and demonstrated it can also provide the same bunch intensity with a peak polarization of 50%.
• RHIC:
  • The new working points of betatron tunes which allow higher luminosity and are also benign to polarization were successfully commissioned
  • During the period of experiment datataking, an average of 4e30 cm-2s-1 luminosity at STAR and Phenix with collisions also at Phobos and Brahms was routinely provided.
  • During the high luminosity development, a factor of 3 higher luminosity was also achieved with 2 collisions at STAR and Phenix with 1.7e11 protons per bunch and 28 bunches per ring by using unpolarized proton source
  • During the last week of RUN, an average of longitudinal polarization at STAR and Phenix of 45% in Blue and 40% in Yellow were routinely achieved at the store energy.
  • Absolute beam polarization in Blue was also measured at the store energy as well as at the injection energy by using the newly installed hydrogen jet target. This will allow us to calibrate the polarization measurements by CNI polarimeter at both energies.
